FitRx is a distinguished behavioral health treatment center for men and women who struggle with eating disorders, behavioral health disorders and eating patterns associated with being overweight or obese. Our team of licensed clinical social workers and counselors, registered dietitians, board-certified psychiatrist, certified personal trainers, medical doctor, professional chef, and more, provides the education, support and training necessary to feel better and live longer. The foundation of our three programs is comprised of four main components of wellness, which are behavioral, medical, nutritional and physical. FitRx offers three programs designed to treat all realms of behavioral and physical wellness, and to suit each client's needs. Our goal is to determine the appropriate program before treatment begins. Each client receives several assessments upon entering treatment, from behavioral to physical to psychiatric. Program 1: Eating Disorders/Co-Occurring Disorders is for clients who suffer with depression, anxiety and other symptoms often associated with binge eating disorders. We use highly structured therapeutic programming and evidence-based treatment modalities. Program 2: Behavioral Health is for clients who suffer with psychiatric symptoms associated with trauma, anxiety, and anxiety related disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder or mood disorders including depression and bipolar. Program 3: Wellness & Weight Loss is for clients who want to lose weight and learn how to have a healthier lifestyle. Our incredible team provides hands-on instructional interaction, education and constant encouragement and support. The FitRx staff includes registered dietitians, licensed professionals therapists, medical doctor, board-certified psychiatrist, nursing staff, master's level exercise physiologist, certified personal trainers and massage therapist.

Dr. Pecoraro holds a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, two Master Degrees in the mental health field and has been in the field of counseling for over 20 years. He is a Licensed Psychologist & Neuropsychologist, a Certified Addiction Professional and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Dr. Pecoraro treats a wide range of mental health and addiction issues. He has received numerous awards for his work in both the mental health and addictions fields. Dr. Pecoraro lectures worldwide. He has published numerous articles in professional journals, magazines and has appeared on television and radio. His associates are caring individuals.
