There is a chance that we will submit another listing update next week, following our first proper business meeting after starting out with just a few people coordinating one another. This replaces the How It Works group that has met at the church previously.

Types of AA Meetings
Discussion: In Oregon, AA discussion meetings center on one specific subject associated with alcohol addiction and recovery. These subjects often derive from an AA text, such as the Big Book. Leaders will open by sharing the topic and giving their insights, and then others can join the conversation.
Open: In Oregon, open AA meetings are available to anyone in the community. They are not restricted to members only, instead allowing all interested parties to attend and learn more about how AA works, what the 12 step model of recovery includes, and how they can support their friends or loved ones battling alcohol addiction.
Wheelchair Access: Oregon AA centers can include wheelchair access for non-ambulatory clients, which can include designated parking and exterior ramps. Interior features can include open floor spaces to access meeting halls, restrooms, and amenities.
