Types of AA Meetings
Closed: In Pennsylvania, closed AA meetings are not open to general members of the community. The only people who may attend are members of AA and individuals who know they have a drinking problem and want to find help.
Men: Men who are impacted by alcohol use disorder may seek out a men’s-only AA group. In Pennsylvania, these AA groups offer 12 Step Programs that center on issues relating to the health and recovery for men of all ages at no cost.
