Havre de Grace, Maryland AA Meetings
Named after the port city of Le Havre (Le Havre de Grâce), which means “Harbor of Grace” in French, Havre de Grace is a city in Harford County, Maryland. Despite being considered as one of the 20 best small towns in America in the media, Havre de Grace has a history of alcohol addiction. AA meetings in Havre de Grace have been set up to help residents of the town who have an alcohol dependency. AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) is an international fellowship that provides peer support to people who are dealing with alcohol addiction. AA meetings are one-hour-long counseling sessions where participants meet in one location and provide peer support to each other. At AA meetings, each participant can share their alcohol addiction stories, as well as participate in discussions surrounding the disease. These meetings are led by senior members who usually choose the topics of discussion for each meeting.
