Lansing, Michigan, home to several car manufacturing plants, was the birthplace of Oldsmobile cars and features a lower cost of living than the national average. Like most other cities across the state, Lansing is home to some challenged by the chronic disease known as alcohol use disorder (AUD). AA meetings in Lansing have been helping people recover from AUD using the 12-step program developed more than 85 years ago by the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous.
