Bronx, New York AA Meetings

The Bronx, one of the five boroughs of New York City, is the only borough that is predominantly located on the U.S. mainland in the fourth-largest area, with the fourth-highest population, and the third-highest population density among the five boroughs. The Bronx has suffered a great deal of pain from the drug epidemic in New York. It also has a history of alcohol addiction. As a result, there are many treatment options throughout the Bronx from medical detox in hospitals, to residential and inpatient care, outpatient therapy, residential treatment centers to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings are a fellowship between people with alcohol use disorder (AUD) who share a common desire to overcome alcohol addiction and achieve sobriety. These meetings provide opportunities for them to gather in one place and provide support to each other. AA meetings are free, the only requirement is a desire to overcome alcoholism and a positive attitude to achieve sobriety. If you are from the Bronx and have an over-dependence on alcohol or know someone who does, you can find AA meetings in Bronx through our directory.
