Alcohol use disorder(AUD) is a problem affecting most adults the age of 18-29, but it can also affect an individual of any age if they have been using alcohol for a long time. AUD is at its lowest among ages 65 and older but there are occasions such individuals are affected as well. This goes to show that alcohol use disorder can happen to anyone regardless of age, and neither does it discriminate between gender, race, religion ethnicity, etc. Alcohol use disorder is a problematic pattern of excessive drinking that leads to psychological, health, and other problems to an individual.
