This anger comes from the fact that friends and families try to make you stop drinking by telling you that you’ve got a problem and that ends very poorly. Aside from AA Texas, other recommended treatments for residents in Texas dealing with AUD are to visit a psychological counselor to help figure out the root causes of the drinking, taking prescribed medications, and going through a medically managed detox or withdrawal process.
