Kimberly Shalenko is the Assistant Director of Substance Abuse Services at a co-occurring mental health facility treating both mental health and substance abuse disorders. She has developed programs within the umbrella of her organization and served as the public face of the program in the community. She has been a passionate advocate for trauma-informed care and implementation of diversity and inclusion concepts both internally and externally and has been an active member of multiple committees at her agency to facilitate these goals. Ms. Shalenko has written for newspapers such as the Gettysburg Times and has been a featured speaker in mental health podcasts and on regional radio programs. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is currently a doctoral candidate in the School of Business at Tiffin University.
