Types of AA Meetings

Closed: In Nevada, closed AA meetings are only available to members and people who recognize they have a problem with excessive drinking and want to find help. The discussions are informal and everyone is encouraged to ask questions, share their experiences, and offer their insights.

Step Meeting: In Nevada, step meetings are part of the AA recovery process. AA members read passages from Twelve Steps, compare the text to their own recovery, and suggest approaches to improve their resilience.
