Types of AA Meetings

Closed: Closed AA meetings in Delaware are not open to the public. These are restricted only to members or anyone who has a drinking problem and wants to find help. Discussions are informal, centering on topics related to alcohol addiction and recovery.

Step Meeting: Delaware AA centers frequently include step meetings in their programs. Members read from AA books, create a dialogue between group members about how they are progressing in their steps, and make plans for improvement for their next meeting.

Women: Women’s AA meetings in Delaware are community support meetings for women who are impacted by alcohol addiction. The meetings are free for all women to attend, using a 12-step program to help women at all stages of addiction recovery. They offer a safe and productive space for community support for women of all ages, including women who have loved ones with alcohol addiction.
