Alexander, Arkansas AA Meetings
Founded as a construction camp for the nearby railroad, Alexander is a city in Pulaski and Saline counties in Arkansas. Some central Arkansas city’s residents are struggling with alcohol addiction. To provide a solution for these residents, the city has set up Alcoholics Anonymous meeting locations. The global support therapy is one of the most revered treatments for alcohol addiction in the world. Since the 1930s, the Alcoholics Anonymous, or AA, has provided much-needed support and healing for people with an alcohol dependency. At the heart of AA is its ‘Twelve Steps’ method. The popular technique, which has been emulated by many other group support organizations, is the primary guide for AA members. It inspires accountability and responsibility from members. The ‘Twelve Steps,’ through AA’s governing literature, “The Big Book”, details the experience of the earliest members of AA who achieved long-term sobriety through the AA program. Though a critical component of AA, new participants are not forced to fully follow the ‘Twelve Steps’ if they are unwilling or unable to do so. The locations to AA meetings in Alexander are listed on alcoholicsanonymous.com. Our directory lists other Arkansas AA meetings from other areas in the state. If you need assistance in finding treatment programs, our team of specialists are happy to help you.
