Beebe, Arkansas AA Meetings

Beebe is the second most populous city in White County, Arkansas. Like many other large cities in America, Beebe has several residents who are dealing with the consequences of alcohol addiction. To help them, the city has set up Alcoholics Anonymous meeting points that offer support to people with an alcohol dependency. Alcoholics Anonymous, or AA, is renowned for providing strong peer support that has helped many people around the world overcome alcohol addiction. AA meetings are one-hour long counseling sessions that act as a sanctuary for people suffering from alcohol addiction to receive peer support from other people who are going through or have gone through the same addiction struggles. At AA meetings, attendees can share stories about their addiction journey and provide commentary surrounding alcohol addiction. AA meetings are led by senior members who have been sober for many years thanks to participating in the AA program. These AA veterans are a major source of support and inspiration to newer members. They organize and choose the topics of discussion for each meeting, and at times they may interject and share their own addiction and recovery story.
