Celebration, Florida AA Meetings
As for several other AA meetings Florida, we list AA meetings in Celebration on AlcoholicsAnonymous.com. Originally developed by The Walt Disney Company, Celebration a master-planned community in Osceola County, Florida. To offer support to its residents who are struggling with alcohol addiction the census-designated place, which is located near Walt Disney World Resort, has established Alcoholics Anonymous programs in the community. Alcoholics Anonymous or AA is an important supportive therapy that helps people who are dealing with a dependence on alcohol become sober again. Its meetings are therapeutic forums in which people with common drinking problems come together to tell their addiction stories and discuss matters related to alcohol addiction. When the risk of regression is highest, usually in the first six months, members are advised to attend meetings on a daily basis and to confide in a senior member/sponsor to receive counsel and moral encouragement. These senior members have overcome alcohol addiction remaining sober for many years. AA stages several social events that can form a replacement for compulsive drinking. AA gatherings are essentially a fellowship that provides opportunities for participants to make new friends and learn stories about other individuals with common alcohol-related issues. This type of peer support reassures participants that they are not alone in their battle with alcohol addiction.
