Cocoa, Florida AA Meetings
Millions of people in the United States and around the world have been diagnosed with alcohol use disorder. Alcohol use disorder or AUD is the medical term for severe alcohol addiction. An individual is diagnosed with AUD when they compulsively consume excessive amounts of alcohol for a long period of time despite suffering its harmful consequences. Cocoa, a city in Brevard County, Florida, has set up Alcoholics Anonymous programs to help members of its community who are struggling with the destructive disease. Alcoholics Anonymous or AA is a global support group that is designed to help people overcome their drinking problems. Its meetings are open to people of all races, sex, ages, and social and economic backgrounds. Family and friends of members are also welcomed to attend meetings to give additional support to them.
