Alcoholics Anonymous is a nonprofit program that helps people overcome alcohol use disorder and all its side effects. Founded in 1935 by people who have recovered from alcohol addiction themselves, AA is an international nonprofit fellowship that has helped millions of people worldwide. There are no requirements that one must fulfill when they want to join the program as it is free from any sort of bias or exclusion. AA Minnesota aspires to help people all over the state reclaim their lives and restore their happiness. It strives to summon every individual in Minnesota suffering from alcohol addiction. AA meetings in Stillwater provide members with a platform where they can communicate whatever is on their minds freely while at the same time building relationships with each other. Certain AA meetings follow the 12 step approach. A set of principles and guidelines that are flexible to be modified for each member.
