Kewa Pueblo, New Mexico AA Meetings
Formerly called the Santo Domingo Pueblo, Kewa Pueblo is a federally recognized tribe of Pueblo Peoples on the bank of the Rio Grande. The census-designated place is located between Santa Fe to the northeast and Albuquerque to the southwest. Kewa Pueblo is steeped in traditions relating to agriculture, art, language, and religion; if you are working toward sobriety, relying on the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) may provide as much social support as you receive from your family and local community. The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of AA are based on the principles that helped the founders of AA become and stay sober. These principles have helped many other people achieve and maintain sobriety since they were published in the book Alcoholics Anonymous—known as the Big Book—and incorporated in to AA meetings in the 1930s. The 12 Steps help you connect with your personal higher power or spiritual practices, heal relationships, and find your path forward. The AA community also includes other meeting types, such as process style meetings where you can share your challenges and successes in recovery. You will experience the unique peer support of others who are in various stages of recovery at AA meetings in Kewa Pueblo. Find AA New Mexico meetings in and near Kewa Pueblo in the directory.
