Galisteo, New Mexico AA Meetings

Galisteo, New Mexico has served as the backdrop for westerns and Hollywood blockbusters, as well as the home of artists, writers, and designers while keeping its small-town southwestern charm. Whether you came to town on set, set up your art studio in the census-designated place, or are a Galisteo native, you may feel like you have to go elsewhere if you want to find resources for alcohol addiction treatment. While you may need to a metropolitan area to receive detox or inpatient rehab treatment, you can attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings in town and remotely online when they aren’t available in person. AA was established in the 1930s and now has chapters around in the world, with meetings being held in or near most communities. Virtual meetings (VMs) are also available for individuals who cannot find an in-person meeting that meets their needs or schedule. At AA meetings in Galisteo, you will find peer support from other individuals who all share the same goal of finding long-term sobriety and healing from whatever damage their alcohol misuse caused to their relationships, sense of self and worth, health, and other areas of their lives.
