Fort Bragg, North Carolina AA Meetings
A military installation, which is one of the largest in the world, Fort Bragg is located in North Carolina within Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, and Moore counties. It’s a census designated place bordering Fayetteville. Known for its cultural diversity as it is the largest US Army base by population, it is the home of the nation’s finest fighting forces. But sadly, as it is the case that frequent heavy drinking is more prevalent in army installations and can lead to problematic alcohol use, AA meetings in Fort Bragg are there to help and push for a life free of alcohol misuse. These meetings can range from open meetings in which newcomers and past drinkers alike can join together and discuss or listen to a speaker share their experience with past alcohol misuse and how AA meetings helped them. Other closed meetings that only people with alcohol use problems can participate, creates an environment for a safe place to share traumas and how alcohol misuse can affect a person. For more spiritual method of helping oneself, there also is step program meetings, which uses manuals used by AA North Carolina and much of the world where Alcoholic anonymous organizations are located.
