Jackson County, Oregon AA Meetings
There is a strong presence of Alcoholics Anonymous in Jackson County, Oregon, home to the Medford metropolitan area. AA in Oregon provides guidance and support to people with alcohol use disorder who wish to work towards recovery. You can find AA meetings available at various times of the day on practically all days of the week. There are several different types of meetings to choose from. The two biggest meeting distinctions are Open or Closed. Open meetings are, as the name suggests, open to all to attend, even if you do not have alcohol use disorder. Closed meetings are reserved only for those with alcohol use disorder. For the uninitiated, Beginners meetings provide an excellent stepping stone into AA. Here you will learn about the basics of AA including its mission, and its traditions. You will also have the chance to hear from others and share your own story if you so choose. AA is entirely self-supporting through member contributions and donations. You will not be charged to attend meetings, but you will be given the opportunity to donate if you can.
