Sprague, Washington AA Meetings
Sprague, a city in Lincoln County, Washington, has a history of alcohol addiction. And like many other cities and towns across the United States small and large, Sprague has Alcoholics Anonymous meeting areas in place offering assistance to its residents that have a dependency on alcohol. Alcoholics Anonymous or AA was created to assist individuals with drinking problems to overcome the debilitating disease once and for all. It has been providing much-needed encouragement, guidance, motivation, and inspiration to millions of people worldwide since the 1930s. It has turned out to be the gold standard method for group therapy treatment for alcohol addiction. It has spawned a plethora of other group support organizations such as Debtors Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Cocaine Anonymous, which have emulated it in their own way. AA’s popular 12-Steps and 12-Traditions methods are among the oldest versions of alcohol therapy. The 12-Steps are largely focused on biblical principles that encourage members to aspire for spiritual transformation through meditation and prayer. While the 12-Steps method makes reference to God, AA does not impose religious beliefs or values on its participants or members. It is also apolitical and non-discriminatory. AA meetings are free to attend, as long as there is a desire to quit drinking for good. AlcoholicsAnonymous.com groups Alcoholics Anonymous Washington State meetings including AA meetings in Sprague.
