Gilroy, California AA Meetings
Gilroy is found in California and has its fair share of alcohol use disorder patients living there. If you or a loved one’s drinking results in repeated problems or distress in functioning in daily life, then you might be affected by alcohol use disorder(AUD). Alcohol use disorder has three stages ranging from mild to moderate and finally severe. These stages are distinguished by the number of symptoms of AUD they exhibit. Some of these symptoms include not being able to limit the amount of alcohol you drink, wanting and trying to cut down or stop your drinking but failing to do so, spending a significant amount of time drinking, feeling an urge or a strong craving to drink, neglecting major obligations at work, school or at home due to alcohol, continuing to drink even when you know it is causing physical, social and interpersonal problems. If an individual exhibits two or three of the above symptoms, then they are considered to have mild AUD. Moderate AUD is when the person exhibits four to five of the symptoms above. And finally, the most dangerous stage when a person six or more of the AUD symptoms is considered to have reached a severe state. AA California is recommended as a treatment for AUD. AA meetings Gilroy are available throughout the city to help those who want to get sober.
