The city in and the county seat of Hernando County, Florida, has put in place Alcoholics Anonymous programs in place to help members of its community who are struggling with an addiction to alcohol. Alcoholics Anonymous or AA, which is guided by its Twelve Steps principle, provides peer support to people who have a dependency on alcohol that can help them attain long-term sobriety. It is very difficult to achieve sobriety on your own. Several studies have found that those who receive support from mutual support programs are more likely to become sober than others who attempt to resolve their drinking problems on their own.
