Katy, Texas AA Meetings
The once railroad town is now a city just west of Houston, in Texas. Several residents of Katy are struggling with a dependency on alcohol. AA or Alcoholics Anonymous is a global fellowship that was founded by Dr. Bob Smith and Bill Wilson in the 1930s. The men, who overcame alcohol addiction, created the program with the objective of helping other people do the same. The popular 12 Steps process was later developed to govern its meetings.
