Snohomish County, Washington, is situated on the beautiful Puget Sound, including islands and channels. Residents and tourists come to see migrating whales and orcas. This active part of the state is home to hundreds of thousands of people. Not all of them have escaped the struggle with alcohol use disorder (AUD), a chronic medical condition consisting of symptoms like uncontrolled drinking and distress in relationships.
