Avila Beach, California AA Meetings
Avila Beach is a Californian community which doubles as a census-designated place (CDP) and an unincorporated community in San Obispo County. Avila Beach is located in San Obispo Bay northwest of Los Angeles and south of San Francisco. Open AA meetings in Avila Beach are organized by members of Alcoholics Anonymous in this community and are supervised by the wider AA California community. Alcoholics Anonymous members provide support for their members and encourage them to move on towards recovery. At AA meetings in Avila Beach, everyone is respected. Members collectively contribute to the recovery of fellow members. At open AA meetings in Avila Beach, mentors provide generalized solutions to alcohol abuse. Members too can share their experiences with alcohol addiction in order to help others learn more effective ways of overcoming alcohol addiction. Closed AA meetings in Avila Beach, like those of other AA California meetings, involve a level of privacy that is ideal for resolving problems of members with alcohol addiction. To improve privacy and confidentiality, these meetings are restricted to members of AA meetings in Avila Beach only.
