AA provides methods of support including its 12-step and 12 Traditions programs which are highlighted in ‘The Big Book’ – the organization’s guide. The book referred to as the organization’s ‘bible,’ is a great source of inspiration for members who are in need of a push to fight to overcome addiction. The stories and insights in this book are usually of great value to them. AA meetings open sessions’ are also non-discriminatory or apolitical.
