Santa Paula, California AA Meetings
Santa Paula called the “Citrus Capital of the World,” has Alcoholics Anonymous programs set up to help its residents who are suffering from alcohol use disorder. The city in Ventura County, California amid the orchards of the fertile Santa Clara River Valley, has AA meetings in Santa Paula established to get the support they need. Millions of people across the globe suffer from alcohol use disorder (AUD). AUD is a disorder where people are dependent on drinking alcohol. There are several medications used to treat AUD including detox that flushes alcohol out of people with severe AUD, counseling from psychologists who teach people with AUD important life skills and strategies, medications that make drinking less enticing, group therapy, and support groups that provide peer support. Support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), are led by people who have overcome an addiction to alcohol. AA meeting is an international fellowship that is open to anyone who is struggling with drinking problems. Our mission with the directory is to help anyone who is struggling with a dependency on alcohol find the support they need.
