Martinsville is a city in Washington Township, Morgan County. Joining the AA community has been shown to help people overcome alcohol dependency. The AA community is a worldwide organization that has been in existence since 1935. It was founded with the sole purpose of assisting members in remaining sober. The AA community accomplishes this by using AA meetings to create a positive environment that encourages and motivates people who are struggling with alcohol use disorder. It also provides an opportunity for participants to support and encourage one another during the recovery process by sharing their addiction stories.
