Considered by many as one of the best places to live in Maine, Ellsworth is a beautiful city in the state’s Hancock County region. With the city experiencing a considerable rise in the number of people with alcohol use disorder, AA meetings in Ellsworth have sprouted up to provide support to the community and supplement other AA meetings in Maine. Founded in 1935, AA has become a pillar of support to those with alcohol use disorder where the only membership requirement is the desire to stop abusing alcohol.
