Dassel, Minnesota AA Meetings
Dassel is a relatively small city in Meeker County, in the US state of Minnesota. Alcohol use disorders are a very serious matter for residents of Dassel. This problem may not rectify itself on its own without the intervention of certain strategies, such as the implementation of the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. These meetings have structured programs in place to assist in this dilemma. Persons with AUD are able to access the local directory listing which was carefully organized by Alcoholics Anonymous to assist with this. The mandate of the organization is to observe and maintain sobriety, encouraging persons to remain alcohol-free. The AA website refers persons to the various rehab centers for further treatments if it becomes a necessity. At the AA meetings in Dassel, all people are welcome to attend. It is noted that if this AUD is ignored it can give rise to certain health matters such as – stroke, heart disease, liver disease, digestive problems, and a host of other illnesses. At the AA Minnesota meetings, previous users are the managers of the meetings as they are well equipped to do so as they have been in that situation before and they are now rehabilitated, providing the necessary experience to relate to the members. The atmosphere at the meetings are warm and friendly; there are open and closed meetings, at open meetings members are allowed to invite families and friends, while at the closed meetings members are able to have private meetings without others invovled.
