Caldwell, Ohio AA Meetings

Founded in 1857, Caldwell got its name from the original owners of the townsite – Joseph and Samuel Caldwell. A portion of the village’s tiny population has a dependence on alcohol. The village, which is located 23 miles north of Marietta in Noble County, Ohio, has put in place Alcoholics Anonymous programs to help these residents. Alcoholics Anonymous or AA is one of the most effective support group treatment therapies for alcohol addiction in the world. The meetings are led by senior members who have overcome alcohol addiction and have been sober for many years. These senior members are a critical component of AA’s setup serving as fellowship mentors or “sponsors” who advise and guide the newer members. The unincorporated village has Alcohol Anonymous meeting points set up to support its residents who struggle with a reliance on alcohol. AA is a supporter of the idea of “helping you helps me.” In its famous 12-Steps method, the “helper principle” is a basic rehabilitation technique. AA believes that nothing will ensure immunity from drinking as much as intensive work with other people who are also dependent on alcohol.” Caldwell residents who are seeking help with their alcohol dependency can find AA meetings in Caldwell on AlcoholicsAnonymous.com, which groups all Alcoholics Anonymous Ohio meetings.
