Moon, Pennsylvania AA Meetings
Located in the heart of Pennsylvania, Moon has experienced first-hand the devastating effects of alcohol dependency. Established with the support of volunteers to rehabilitate people suffering with alcohol addiction, AA meetings have been a vital part of the community. Alcoholics Anonymous Pennsylvania works with the best approach to motivate its members to speak their truth, get sober, and at the same time help other members achieve sobriety. Alcohol addiction can be classified from mild to severe categories. With each category with its own side effects, that if left untreated can lead to serious complications. But one does not have to face alcohol addiction alone, the AA meetings in Moon are there to help members find long term sobriety. When it comes to meetings there are 2 types of it. One is based on gender, which is only limited for the same sex genders. The other type of meeting is designated for newcomers, which aims to help its new members express themselves better and get the help they need. The program is built upon the traditions of the 12 steps approach, but is more flexible letting members choose a meeting that best works for them depending on their sobriety level.
