Coldspring, Texas AA Meetings
Coldspring is a city in San Jacinto County, Texas. Reliance on alcohol has recently become a menace in almost every part of the nation, so much so that the AA Community has begun AA meetings in Coldspring and neighboring cities to help individuals who need guidance to combat alcohol dependence. For people struggling with alcohol addiction, AA meetings offer them an opportunity to interact with other meeting attendees on a comparable recovery journey. They find themselves in a warm environment where there is no fear of criticism. The meetings use the 12-Step program that encourages participants to strive to live a better life. An essential part of this program is the acceptance by members that they have a problem with their alcohol intake rate. AA meetings promote a transition in which, through medication and critical thoughts, members seek to achieve peace. AA meetings, however, are neither political nor religious.
