Meherrin, Virginia AA Meetings
Meherrin is a small unincorporated community in Lunenburg and Prince Edward counties in the U.S. state of Virginia. Many inhabitants of this city suffer from alcohol every day because they did not know when the situation began. Several other inhabitants in this city have difficulty cutting back on their alcohol consumption, but they are not aware that alcohol dependency is gradually creeping in. The symptoms of addiction may not, at first, be unpleasant, but when the condition becomes severe, the lives of the sufferers may be affected. Drinking more than expected a few times, drinking more often than intended, feeling sick from drinking or not drinking, etc., are among several other symptoms. Although these symptoms may not look serious, they can graduate fast into serious physical and emotional issues that may adversely affect relationships, financial choices, wellness, and other aspects. The AA community started several years ago to help people in this situation because if alcohol addiction is fought individually, there is almost no chance of recovery. AA stands for anonymous alcoholics, and it is the coming together of previous and present sufferers of alcohol dependency in order to solve the problems faced by these individuals. AA meetings in Meherrin has helped many of this city’s inhabitants, and that has brought them and other AA Virginia meetings to our AA meeting catalog.
