Alcoholism is the excessive use of alcohol that results in physical and mental health issues and is a matter that has been affecting a significant amount of people all over the world for years. One of the places is the city of Riverside, New Jersey that is home to many that have been affected directly or indirectly by alcoholism. Its effects go beyond the user to loved ones. This makes alcoholism an issue we should work and focus on. Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) is a society consisting of people who themselves were sufferers of alcoholism and who are committed in helping people recover from it. It’s a non-professional fellowship that accepts anyone willing to defeat their addiction and work towards bettering their lives. It is available internationally all over the world including New Jersey. This society aims to achieve this by holding AA meetings NJ between members. The meetings provide a place where members could share their addiction challenges, experiences and offer guidance to one other in improving their situation.
