Named after the Irish town of Dundalk, Dundalk, a census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland, is considered one of the first inner-ring suburbs of Baltimore. Some of the unincorporated community’s residents are struggling with alcohol addiction. There are a plethora of reasons people develop alcohol dependence. One of the most common is trauma. According to alcohol addiction treatment professionals, the vast majority of people with alcohol dependency are dealing with some type of trauma. For many, treating unresolved trauma is the key to a full recovery. Although there are several other treatments for alcohol addiction, this is where Alcoholics Anonymous excels.
