Blakeslee, Pennsylvania AA Meetings
Lately there have been reports of a swelling number of individuals dealing with alcohol use disorder in the United States of America. Blakeslee is a community found in Tobyhanna Township in Monroe County, Pennsylvania and it has its fair share of people dealing with AUD. But AA meetings in Blakeslee has shown to be very effective in dealing with AUD. Alcoholics Anonymous Pennsylvania is held all over the state in different cities and towns to help deal with AUD. The meetings offer platforms that are free of judgement and encourage people to talk openly about their problems relating to alcohol. AA meetings offer mutual support for its members trying to get sober and provide a sponsorship program to help stay on track. Alcohol use disorder is a serious disorder that could lead to fatal consequences if not controlled. Since it is an addiction it might be hard for individuals to stop drinking on their own seeking outside help is always recommended. Suggested treatments for AUD besides attending AA meetings include going to see a psychological counselor, going through a medically managed detox process and taking medications. Symptoms exhibited by a person with AUD include constantly getting a strong craving to drink, not being able to control the amount you drink and trying but failing at stopping the use of alcohol.
