Blackstone is a town in the County of Worcester. It is known to be home for many who are very exposed to the damages alcohol use is capable of. But there is always hope and the user still has the ability to change the course of his or her life. AA Massachusetts is one of the many communities of the Alcoholics Anonymous. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a nonprofit and voluntary organization formed by Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith to aid alcohol users get rid of their drinking problems. Those that are extremely addicted to alcohol are the ones most involved in abstinence and in the AA. Just as many individuals do not address their obesity until a heart attack, alcoholism is no different. That’s why the most symptomatic alcohol users are prone than others to join the AA. Unfortunately, the more symptomatic users have the most broken relationships and in turn require forming new ones that would help them become sober. AA meetings in Blackstone provide a very safe environment for people who share the same struggles to come together and help each other become and stay sober.
