South Amboy, New Jersey AA Meetings

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of diverse individuals who have had struggles with alcohol abuse. It is a self-sustaining society that is available internationally. There are no restrictions for membership except having the desire to solve your alcohol addiction. Since its formation, Alcoholics Anonymous has been working towards this goal by following a 12 step approach to sobriety put forth by its founders; Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith. This process involves a series of meetings and discussion between those affected with this problem and mentorship by experienced “sponsors” which support members understand and implement the program. Non-users can also attend gatherings that are labeled as “Open AA meetings” as observers. AA meetings NJ strive towards helping its members achieve sobriety and in turn be there for those still struggling with alcoholism. AA meetings in South Amboy is where members share struggles, experiences and stories and provide a support system for one another. They provide a safe and secure environment where members can openly communicate with each other so that they could receive the help they need.
